Dr. Manoj P is a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Neurology, currently practising at the Sree Gokulam Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. He has an impressive list of qualifications to his name. After graduating as an MBBS from the University of Kerala in 1994 through Medical College Thiruvananthapuram, he studied and trained in Kottayam and Kozhikode and obtained an MD and DNB in Internal Medicine and a DM and DNB in Neurology.

Dr. Manoj did his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College Hospital, Kottayam from 1997 to 2000. In addition to clinical work in the OPD, wards and speciality departments, he was also involved in the training of medical students and interns.

Later, in preparation for the DM and DNB Neurology degrees he was Resident in the Department of Neurology at Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode, from 2001 to 2004. Here he treated inpatients, outpatients and ICU patients, in addition to cross-consultations and stay duties. During this period, he also trained in plasmapheresis, neuroradiology, neuropathology, psychiatry, ventilatory care, botox therapy and electrophysiology. Academic duties included organisation of clinical clubs, supervision of junior residents and training of residents from medicine. He passed the Neurology speciality examination (DM Neurology) of the University of Calicut in April 2004, and the Diplomate of National Board examination (DNB Neurology) also in 2004. Dr. Manoj's interests lie in stroke, muscle and nerve.
